Question for you

To a Christian what is temptation?
For some reason I have it in my head that temptation is the addiction of our flesh to sin nature? Is that it, or is it something else completely?
Please comment with any thoughts and feelings.

Dreams

This is my dream:

I am this house

2 sides.

1 evil and secret.

the other normal and clean looking

Things from the evil side are hidden but from time to time start leaking over into the good side. People start seeing pictures and fragments from the other side. I deny these things and say that it must be from the other owners.

My analysis:

Since I am a Christian, the house belongs to Christ.

But for some reason the house is for sale.

Does it mean that Christ isn't the owner of my house? Is it up to the highest bidder (Satan, sin, idols..).

As a true Christian this should no longer be an issue. I need to decide who is going to be the owner of my life and stick with it.

I cannot live 5 days of the week letting sin abide in me and inviting Christ in the other 2 days. The mere thought of this is ridiculous. I can only have one master. I can be a slave to one and only one thing/person.

This is living luke warm at it's finest. When things suck I run to Christ, but every other time in my life I live to feed my lust and please my flesh.

There is something horribly wrong here.
